The St. Andrew’s Church provides a strong social network which includes pastoral care for one another. We hope to continue in the Autumn a three-monthly bring and share lunch after the main Sunday service. We are trying to encourage all the members on the congregational roll, to be supportive, grow in faith and gain a better understanding of who we are as part of the Scottish Episcopal Church, whose history extends back to the beginning of Christianity here in Angus.
We currently have a small congregation (20-30 on a Sunday) that expands during certain times of the year. We have families whose history goes back centuries which is part of those ‘deep roots’ that continue to reach out to all people including those who are living on the fringes.
We are trying to increase our attendance of children which is presently limited to Special Services. However along with the support of our priest we are making new efforts to reach out within this small community and beyond. “Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your pegs.” (Isaiah 54:1)
